Earthen Strawbale Workshop/Training with Master builder - Nathan Wright and the staff of The Mojave Center
The objective of workshop:
The goal at the Mojave Center is to complete a 10ft x 15ft structure using the natuarl building technique of strawbales.
This building will be another example of alternative building that works well in a desert environment. Our aim is to demonstrate as many different natural building techniques as possible at The Mojave Center. The variety and rectangular shape a strawbale house creates allows our regional community to see an eco-friendly building that completements our other earthen domes.
This is a great opportunity if you are interested in gaining a more in-depth understanding of the uses of natural building techniques to create your own strawbale house.
